For the last four months, I’ve been telling myself that I would slow down, curve, even stop shopping for makeup. I have an overabundance of lipsticks, palettes, just makeup in general that I never use. Well about that…..
Between Black Friday, Cyber Monday and basically every time I left my house……Ive come to terms with the fact that I have zero self control when it comes to makeup. So I’ve discovered a solution.
Monthly Makeup Subscription Boxes.
I chose Ipsy. You fill out a quick questionnaire pertaining to your personal description eye, hair, skin color
And personal preferences favorite brands, colors, perfumes

I was a bit skeptical at first…yeah right 10 bucks where’s the catch? It’ll be a bunch of stuff I won’t like or won’t match me.
Well, I was mistaken.
First off, the bag is super cute!
- Pūr-lisse Blue Lotus Balance Moisturizer
- Luxie Beauty Luxie Beauty Gold small Duo FiberBrush 524T
- Elizabeth Mott “Color is Bae” lip lacquer in *Red Chili
- Skone Cosmetics Brow Wand Eyebrow Pencil *chocolate
- theBalm Cosmetics Mad Lash Mascara
The Brow pencil was a little tricky to get used to because I’m so used to using an angled brush/spoolie combo with a gel or powder. But I liked the results. I’ve used it a couple of times since just to define my brows when I’m not wearing any makeup so I won’t look washed out.
The Mascara worked great. You can see the difference. Especially on my bottom lashes.
I saw this color and immediately thought “NOPE” too red…what’s lip lacquer? And first off, “Who is Elizabeth Mott?” I applied the color anyway and was pleasantly surprised.
The lip lacquer applied basically like a liquid lipstick and dried matte. See this is why you gotta try new things….my 10.oo Ipsy face 😍Brows Lashes and Lips.
